Treasure Tampa (T²) is hosting a Sept. 29 event to explain how creative placemaking works.
The park will feature the work of local artists as part of a grant awarded from Treasure Tampa initiative.
University Area Community Development Corporation (CDC) has been awarded a grant of $30,000 as part of the Tampa-based Gobioff Foundation’s Treasure Tampa (T²) initiative.
Rarely do matchmakers possess vision, intuition and resources, but miraculously, Tampa Bay has just such a gifted group. The Gobioff Foundation has been generously granting funds to further the arts and human rights here for a decade.
Jamie Bennett is helping to kick off a new Treasure Tampa (T²) creative placemaking opportunity.
The launch event will include breakfast and presentation about creative placemaking by Jamie Bennett, ArtPlace America.
